Why is WordPress so ugly? I had to adapt one of html5up’s templates to a wordpress compatible format because every single one of the presets on their market was ugly.
They do have themes, but each one is a bait and switch with the image provided because you have to buy the crucial feature you want. If you want to look for that feature, good luck filtering by the tags because everyone uses every feature tag for each one of their themes.
Even worse, if I found a theme I would like, I have to buy an annual license for that theme on their personal website. I do not trust using my credit card on a personal website and why do I have to buy an annual license? It really isn’t that hard to make a theme and wordpress themes are ugly!
So I adapted this theme so if it doesn’t work, I apologize. I don’t know php any more than I know css and html.
